Shamana Meditation Teacher Training focuses primarily on developing the skills to guide and hold meditation classes. Providing a solid foundation for learning how to teach various meditation techniques from different eastern schools and traditions

This is a 100-hour residential course, which includes a combination of practices, lectures, discussions and student practicum. Students will practice and teach extensively during the training, with ample guidance and feedback, aiming to prepare the students to teach meditation.

This training is for those wishing to deepen their own personal practice, teach friends and family members, incorporate meditation training into their existing professions, or develop a private meditation teaching practice.

*Our program meets the standards and curriculum of Yoga Alliance as a 100 hr Continuing Education program for yoga Teachers & our Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion.

Explore the philosophy and different approaches to meditation. Reading and Contemplation of Yogic, Zen & Tao scripts.

Yogic Psychology.

Understanding the mind, its workings and relation to Prana/Energy.

Energy Anatomy.

Energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, Naadis, etc.). Learn techniques for emotional release.

Self-Inquiry.

The Self-Inquiry method: Practice and Purpose of Self-Inquiry- “Who am I?”

Teaching Skills.

Practicing & developing teaching skills - Verbal instructions, tone of voice and guidelines toward focus and attention.

Movement and Dance.

Movement and dance as meditation and healing techniques.

Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences and in our training, we integrate them together as a powerful tool for healing and transformation, establishing the foundation for Yoga Therapy. Approaching health on all levels, physically, emotionally and mentally. Our practices prevent and treat diseases.

 

The main focus of Gurukuls is on imparting learning to the students in natural surroundings, which focuses on applied knowledge that prepares the students in all fields of life. The essential teachings embark through group discussions, self-learning and teacher presence. While the students live with each other with brotherhood, humanity, love, and discipline.

We provide intimate care with an attentive ear and a loving heart throughout the program, providing private consultations, coaching and treatments.

Located in the village of San Marcos La Laguna which is known as the “Capital of Yoga of Central and South America”, on the shores of Lake Atitlán. The lake is known for her healing energy, attracting spiritual seekers from all over the world. Living among the Mayan community, one is inspired by the ancient local traditions, cultures and wisdom present here. Access to the lake is a 10-minute walk from our center!

All inclusive (program + room and board)

$1500 USD - Shared room

$2500 USD - Private room

A $50.00 processing fee will be charged.

This Payment Includes:

Includes all classes, shared transport from airport, workshops, training manual, certification and accommodation, (*price depends on the choice of room & board, shared and dorm options available), 3 incredible vegetarian Ayurvedic meals daily. 

Does not Include:

Airfare, health insurance, field trips, private consultations, coaching and treatments.

Upon acceptance of your application to this program you will choose from different  accommodation options.

STEP 4:

PAY YOUR REMAINING BALANCE.

The final payment of the course fee is due 30 days prior to the course start date.
